That's 440 yards of merino looped 44 times around those chairs. 44 laps around the chairs for me. Why? Have I gone (more) insane?

Naw. The goal is self-patterning yarn, like the yarn Anne dyed to make these socks. We are going to play with Kool Aid and other dyes in her basement today, so watch this space for more pics.
